Lene Pels Jørgensen (aka Ronsbo) has worked with visual media, performance art, and culture for more than 20 years in Denmark, Italy, New York, and Los Angeles.
Alongside studies at the Royal Art Academy's Architecture School in Copenhagen in the 80's Lene worked as a graphic designer for cutting edge publications and organizations, with film and video and was part of a trend setting video arts milieu in Copenhagen, where her video-film Love In A Fridge won acclaim before circulating festivals around the World.
She moved to NY and studied Method Acting and Directing at the Strasberg Theater Institute and Actors Studio in NY and LA.
Lene assisted acclaimed theater director and owner Peter Langdal at the Betty Nansen Theater in the mid-90's and brought Method Acting to Denmark with a Master Class-series with Tony Greco. She has appeared in film and Danish TV and finished studies at UCLA in Content Creation in 2002 and went on to found the video-collective Digital Kitchen at Greenway Court Theater in Hollywood.
She curated an exhibition series STUDIO DENMARK, featuring a group of Danish artists showcasing photography, installation and concept art, furniture design, jewelry art, glass- and ceramic at Gallery ASTO, LA 2003, Gallery Sculpture To Wear, LA 2003-06, L.A. International Biennal Art at Bergamot Station, LA 2003, and DNA Gallery, Solana Beach 2004.
Lene began preparing the Danish Film Festival in 2004 after reviving the non-profit organization Scandinavian American Arts Foundation, of which she's the CEO. SAAF is the organization presenting the DK FILM FEST : LA.
She's an active member of Cultural Frontrunners, a group started in 2006 by Minister of Culture and Press Lene Balleby at The Royal Danish Embassy in Washington DC.
For 1o years she has also worked as a Private Chef and Special Event Planner for PRINCE and Mariah Carey amongst other clients.

Christian D. Bruun has more than fifteen years of professional experience in Denmark and the United States. He is a pioneer in the field of digital media and digital film making with experience in producing, directing, 3D/2D computer animation, art direction, web design/programming, video editing/compositing, and architectural design.

As creative principal and owner of DitlevFilms—a production and postproduction company with offices in New York and Los Angeles—Christian produces feature films, directs national commercial campaigns, and creates digital media and visual effects for feature films, advertising, and interactive entertainment. In 2002, he produced Kid Bang with FOX Searchlab, which was picked up as a feature film by FOX Searchlight and currently in pre-production with Intrepid Pictures. In 2004/2005, he produced and shot The F Word, another feature film that premiered in official competition at the Tribeca Film Festival 2005 and subsequently sold to IFC. Most recently, he produced the first Real-D 3D live action feature film—which opened in spring 2007 at the Cannes Film Festival.

Christian studied at Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-arc) and received his Bachelor and Master of Architecture from the Århus School of Architecture in Denmark (AAA). He is co-founder of the Department of Visual Communication at AAA, and was director of the Digital Media Center at the School of Visual Arts in New York. As well as lecturing and working around the world, Christian is regularly a visiting critic at Columbia University, Princeton University, and S.C.I.-Arc on topics of film, media, architecture, and technology.

In 1999, Christian curated the Millennium Exhibition for Architectural Record at Max Protecht Gallery in New York, a show that traveled internationally through 2003. In 2004 and 2006, he was curator of the U.S. Pavilion at The Venice Biennale. He is making a documentary on digital architecture and 3D technology funded by the Danish government.

In 2006, Christian co-founded The Danish Film Fest : Los Angeles, which celebrates and showcases Danish film and culture in Los Angeles, under the patronage of his Royal Highness Prince Joachim of Denmark. He is also a board member of the Scandinavian American Arts Foundation in Los Angeles.

June's creative career has encompassed costume design, graphic design, and photography in locations around the world including Italy, Mexico, Bahamas, Turkey, New Orleans, and Philadelphia. After moving to Los Angeles, June costumed many film, television and stage productions as well as managed the auction sales of some of the outstanding costumes from Hollywood 's Golden Era. She then moved into the production side of the film industry as a development executive, a position she held until last year. Presently, in addition to indulging her love of international cinema, she has revived her award-winning photography passion by photographing portraits for private and commercial clients.

ANNIKA OLSEN, Fashion+ merchandise manager
   
Annika H. Olsen is a Faeroese designer who studied fashion design and manufacturing in Denmark. She opened 3 retail stores and a wholesale showroom / design studio in Copenhagen before coming to LA in 2006.
Besides designing, manufacturing and marketing her lines of upscale clothing for men and women, she has designed costumes for the entertainment and hospitality industries.
While her collections convey a sense of the traditional through the use of classic high-quality fabrics, she constantly strives to transcend the boundary between fashion and wearable art and has been active both as a participant and curator of various fashion design exhibits.
She is currently in the exhibition of Nordic design Transform , which is traveling throughout Scandinavia and Europe.
Annika was instrumental in putting on the show DANISH JEWELRY : 3-2-1 at Sculpture To Wear, a wearable art gallery and showroom in Santa Monica during the DK FILM FEST : LA in 2006 and her designs are represented there.

She is also an advocate of raising America's awareness of Scandinavian fashion and design.

I am 21 years of age. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas in a very European household. My father is French and my mother Danish. I have lived in Southern California for some 7 years or so. Currently I am a student at UCLA where I am studying International Relations. I have been acting for about three years, and at this time I am taking scene study acting classes. My print and commercial representation is with DTA. The person managing my career is Blair Silver. Recently, I have become a member of SAG (financial core).

Her great grand father Erik Madsen left Denmark for Haiti where Stephanie
was raised until the age of 17. She moved to Southern California for
College and to San Diego in 1991. She is a Consultant for Worldwide
Marketing as well as an artist in her spare time. Her photography work
has been recognized in France with art shows at the Instituto Cervantes
and the Museum of Contemporary Art, both in Bordeaux where she lived
briefly. She is now the Vice President of the House of Denmark in San
Diego and is pursuing her artistic career in San Diego. She just
finished a multi media piece on Haiti that she submitted to the Museum of
Contemporary Art in San Diego.

A Danish national, Maj came to Southern California fourteen years ago with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Aarhus School of Business, Denmark, as well as language degrees from the Universities of Grenoble and Bordeaux, France, and the Goethe Institute in Munich, Germany. After business school, Maj worked in hiring and education for IBM in Germany before moving to the U.S. Here, she has worked in international marketing, sales and distribution, most recently as the International Marketing Manager for Callaway Golf, a large golf club manufacturer, with whom she has also been stationed in England. Maj is the editor of the Newsletter for the House of Denmark, a non-profit organization which promotes the knowledge of Denmark and its culture and hosts the Danish Cottage in the International Village in San Diego's Balboa Park.

Anne Frederiksen is Vice President of Regional Sales at world renowned Danish lighting manufacturer, Louis Poulsen Lighting, Inc. A member of the American Institute of Architects, the Illuminating Engineering Society and the Designer Lighting Forum, Frederiksen has spent over 12 years working closely with Architects and Designers in an effort to help beautify the West Coast.
Notable projects which she has collaborated include UCSD Cancer Center, Biogen IDEC, Food and Drug Administration Laboratory (FDA Lab), all of which have won prestigious industry awards. Selected as Cultural Frontrunner by the Royal Danish Embassy, Frederiksen also devotes time supporting Danish/American Arts interests through cultural exchange. While her position as Board Member, Scandinavian American Arts Foundation (SAAF) keeps her focused on exploring various methods of communications by way of the arts, Frederiksen’s Board experience extends to encompass membership on the Danish American Chamber of Commerce (DACC) as well.

Also worth noting is Frederiksen’s work with Nordic LAtttitudes, a Scandinavian design exhibit hosted by the Santa Monica Public Library in 2007. This cultural event was featured in various publications such Lighting Design and Application (LD+A), Interior Design, NYT and The LA Times among others.
